Registration is now open for the "Champions of the Court" pickleball event, hosted by the Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department. This event is open to pickleball enthusiasts in Kingsport, according to the City of Kingsport.
The event will take place from April 7 to April 28, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Riverview Park Pickleball Courts. It is open to beginner and intermediate players with a skill level of 3.0 or higher. Up to 20 players can participate each week, and participants must be at least 13 years old, as reported by the City of Kingsport.
The pickleball event costs $5 per person per week, with players paired randomly each session. The top two players from each week will advance to the final tournament on May 5, where the winner will receive a championship title and prizes. The event is open to players of all skill levels, as stated by the City of Kingsport.
