Lake Havasu City is gearing up to commemorate a significant milestone as the Community Aquatic Center turns thirty. An official announcement from Lake Havasu City's news release invites the community to participate in the anniversary celebration, which is themed around the vibrant era of the nineties. Scheduled for May 3, 2025, this daylong event will feature various activities from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Engaging in nostalgic glory, the commemoration will kick off with a presentation, after which attendees can enjoy an open swim at no cost as well as a complimentary lunch. Contributing to the festivities, the local Elks Lodge #2399 is at the helm of funding the afternoon's provisions. Having had the distinction of being the inaugural group to rent the aquatic center back in 1995, the Elks have upheld the gesture of orchestrating a free community swim annually.
Havasu residents and tourists are being called upon to partake in the event that promises an array of activities suitable for all age groups. The invitation promises an afternoon of "splashes, smiles, and community spirit," welcoming not just locals but everyone to celebrate the cherished memories created at the Community Aquatic Center over the past thirty years, as stated by Lake Havasu City.
