A new French Market is coming to Miami Beach, offering a variety of artisanal goods and gourmet treats. Located at South Pointe Park's Washington Avenue entry plaza, the market will open this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be a monthly event, taking place on the first Sunday of each month through October as part of a six-month pilot program, as per the City of Miami Beach website.
Over 25 small businesses will feature goods ranging from pastries to fashion accessories. Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner praised the market for showcasing French culture, while Commissioner Kristen Rosen Gonzalez, who supported the market’s creation, highlighted the benefits for small businesses, especially women-owned enterprises.
The French Market, sponsored by the French American Association of Crafts and Trades, aims to celebrate French craftsmanship and culture while supporting local businesses and fostering cultural exchange.
