Miami-Dade County will celebrate the opening of Serenity at Liberty Square Phase Four on Thursday next week, with Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and other officials attending the ceremony.
As per the Miami-Dade County release, this development adds 193 mixed-income housing units to the Liberty Square community, offering homes for families with varying income levels. The project also includes the new headquarters for the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce and the Jessie Trice Community Health Center to support the health needs of residents.
The development is funded through a partnership of federal, state, local, and private entities, with contributions such as $2.1 million in Community Development Block Grant funding and $3 million in Surtax funding. The project aims to improve both housing and community services in the Liberty City neighborhood. The ceremony will be held at 1415 NW 63rd Street in Miami.
