Tomorrow, downtown Miami's streets will be flush with runners for the 2025 Lexus Corporate Run, and for those heading to the event, Miami-Dade officials encourages taking public transit to avoid inevitable traffic snarls. The county's website advises attendees to download the GO Miami-Dade app, which offers options to plan trips, track buses and trains in real time, and even pay fares in advance.
With Miami’s Metrorail expecting increased ridership due to the event, they've made it easier to get on board by accepting various forms of contactless-payment methods; these include using your contactless-enabled bank cards and mobile wallets straight at the fare gates, and for those who fancy a more traditional approach, passes are readily available for purchase at all Metrorail stations, and incidentally, attendees aiming to bypass the traffic-induced mayhem can pick from a range of passes, including One-Trip, One-Day, and Seven-Day options, through the Token Transit App among other platforms, according to the same release.
Moreover, these passes aren't limited to just one app—attendees can get them via the Transit App, Google Wallet/Maps for Android users, and Moovit, expanding the ways in which runners and spectators alike can navigate to the starting line.
