A somber scene unfolded in Miami-Dade as a shooting resulted in the death of an adult female and left two juveniles fighting for their lives, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) is actively investigating the details surrounding the violence.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of NE 141 Street and NE 2 Court where MDSO deputies converged after receiving reports of gunfire, they found three victims, an adult female and two juveniles, one male, and one female, in a dark-colored SUV all with multiple gunshot wounds, all three victims were transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) to JMH Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition although the adult female later succumbed to her injuries, according to Miami-Dade Government.
Investigators are piecing together the circumstances that led to the tragedy and are particularly interested in the whereabouts and identities of several subjects who are believed to have approached the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene, as they work to build a clearer picture of the events, detectives are also trying to establish the familial connections among the victims.
