Miami-Dade County will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Brothers to the Rescue Memorial Park on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The park, located at 2420 SW 72nd Avenue in Miami, has undergone several upgrades, including improved accessibility, lighting, security, and aesthetics, as per the Miami-Dade County release.
The park, which serves as both a recreational space with baseball and softball facilities, as well as a monument honoring the Cuban exile community, has received key enhancements. These include new ADA-compliant bleachers, water fountains, and security fences that also add visual appeal.
Miami-Dade County District 6 Commissioner Kevin M. Cabrera and Miami-Dade Parks Director Maria I. Nardi will lead the ceremony. The event is open to the public, with media invited to attend and see the park’s new features.
