A routine traffic stop in Mt. Juliet turned into a significant arrest when a 54-year-old Nashville man, already on probation for serious felony offenses, was pulled over by local police. According to a social media post from the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the officer initiated the stop after noticing the vehicle was struggling to stay within its lane on Mt. Juliet Road near Lebanon Road.

Further investigation during the stop revealed that the driver was wanted for a felony probation violation out of Nashville. The man's previous charges are substantial, including Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule I and II Controlled Substances. The police department publicly commended the officers involved, saying, "Great work by our officers in their strong proactive work in protecting MJ!"
The list of the man's underlying charges did not stop there. He was also found to have past convictions for being a Felon in Possession of a Handgun and Possession of a Firearm by a Dangerous Felon. These offenses add gravity to the potential consequences the individual now faces after this recent arrest.
