
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office recently received over 20 awards at the 32nd Annual Oklahoma Buckledown Awards in Tulsa. The awards recognize the efforts of deputies in promoting traffic safety and law enforcement, as reported by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.
At the ceremony, Lt. Matt Wagner and Captain Glen Bennett received the Occupant Protection Enforcement Award. Msgt. Eric Kirby was recognized with the Occupant Protection Prevention Award. Deputies Ryan Leftwitch, Ryan Clanton, William Marchant, Kaylin Jones, and Ryan Esqueda were honored with the Impaired Driving Enforcement Award. Msgt. Christy Yokley received the Impaired Driving Prevention Award, as stated by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office on their Facebook page, several deputies were recognized for their work in traffic enforcement, including Captain Glenn Bennett, Deputy Diago Frausto, Msgt. Jimmy Gillespie, SSgt. Louie Gomez, Msgt. Mike Hanson, Deputy William Marchant, Sgt. Joee Mitchell, Deputy Jonah Page, Deputy Dillon Pettus, SSgt. Jimmy Vasquez, Lt. Matthew Wagner, SSgt. Jamie Works, Msgt. Matthew Yerby, and SSgt. Brent Zwiefel. Msgt. Christy Yokley and Msgt. Eric Kirby received the Nicholas Dees Memorial Award for their service.
