In what marks the approaching 100-day milestone for his administration, AG Rayfield is set to tackle issues central to the interests of Oregonians. "In my first three months in office, we’ve established clear priorities: challenging federal overreach, fighting back against corporate greed, and standing up for veterans, students, and working families," Rayfield said in a statement to the Oregon Department of Justice's official announcement. This statewide initiative appears designed to closely connect with Oregonian concerns while closely demonstrating the AG's commitment to his stated priorities.
Starting with Eugene on April 9, the forums will have Rayfield joined by key leaders such as Oregon House Speaker Julie Fahey, creating a platform for community members to raise their voices. According to the schedule disclosed by the Oregon Department of Justice, the Portland event will feature an interstate perspective, with Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes set to appear alongside AG Rayfield on April 10.
Bend's citizens can mark their calendars for May 3, with the forum bringing together state officials and the wider community. While venues for some of these interactive sessions are yet to be disclosed, additional dates throughout the summer promise to offer ample opportunity for Oregonians to actively engage in these critical conversations.
