Prescott Valley's Development Services Department has embraced technology with the recent launch of its new interim portal for Electronic Plan Review called goPost by e-PlanSoft. This online platform, detailed by the Town of Prescott Valley's announcement, is set to modernize how building, planning, zoning, and engineering permit applications are submitted.
Applicants can now digitally upload all their documents, which streamlines the review process. However, payments for the time being must still be completed over the phone. The full-service portal, expected to be in operation late 2025, promises to subsequently allow online payment options.
The introduction of this portal aims at enhancing customer service for residents, developers, and contractors alike. With the goPost portal, plan reviews are routed electronically through e-PlanSoft, expediting the process compared to traditional paper submissions. Once a review is completed, applicants can receive their feedback or the issued permit with ease.
The portal represents the Town's ongoing efforts to improve service delivery. According to the announcement, while this step forward simplifies several aspects of the submission process, the full-service portal rolling out later will include many more exciting features. Inquiries about the new system can be directed to the Development Services Department by calling 928-759-3050.
