The Queen Creek Police Department has announced the launch of the Partners in Policing Academy, a new program offering residents an overview of police operations. The academy will include interactive sessions focused on the daily responsibilities of law enforcement, according to the Town of Queen Creek.
The Town of Queen Creek has started the Partners in Policing Academy, a program that allows residents to interact with police units such as Traffic, Crime Scene Investigation, the Real-Time Crime Center, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, SWAT, and K9. Police Chief Randy Brice said, “The Partners in Policing Academy directly aligns with the department’s vision, mission, and values,” and “The program promotes transparency and strengthens trust between the department and the community.”
The Queen Creek Police Department will hold a community program from May 1 to May 3 for up to 25 participants. To take part, individuals must be at least 18 years old, live in the Town of Queen Creek, and pass a background check. Applications are available on the department’s website at QueenCreekAZ.gov.
