They'll be lunging into the later NCAA Semifinal on Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m. MT, where they'll face a starting challenge on beam, followed by rotations on floor, vault, and a culminating performance on bars. Just to stir things a touch, Utah ranks an imposing No. 3 on beam, and tied No. 4 on bars, making them a formidable presence in the apparatus lineup.
It's a packed day with Semifinal I commencing at 2:30 p.m. MT, featuring powerhouses like No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 3 Florida as well as No. 7 Missouri, and No. 11 Alabama. The Red Rocks are slotted in Semifinal II alongside top seed LSU, No. 5 UCLA, and No. 8 Michigan State.
