While today's forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of rain and snow showers starting mainly after 3 p.m., the skies are set to clear up as we move into the evening, with the low dropping to around 32 degrees overnight.
The National Weather Service anticipates a partly sunny Friday with a modest 20 percent chance of showers after noon. Temperatures are expected to peak at 53 degrees, with winds light and variable, shifting to a north-northwest bearing at a mild 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. For the nighttime, the forecast envisions a mostly clear sky and a low circling the 31-degree mark, with winds continuing their northwestern journey, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday promises ample sunshine with a daytime high forecasted to be around 55 degrees. The following night remains mostly clear, as the mercury dips slightly to hover around 34 degrees. When Sunday comes around, the NWS assures a sunny day with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 61 degrees.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday will greet locals with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures ascending toward a balmy 70 degrees. Despite the nighttime turning mostly cloudy, the low will rest at a mild 45 degrees. Tuesday's sky will play with a few more clouds, sharing a partly sunny aura, at nearly the same high temperature as Monday. As we cross into Wednesday, the NWS promises a clear sunlit day, with temperatures escalating to an even warmer 72 degrees.
