The culinary scene at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has garnered accolades again, as Food & Wine magazine places the airport among the top ten airports in the US for food and drinks. Making it into this prestigious list for the third year running, SFO has proven its dedication to providing a top-notch dining experience for travelers, as per Food & Wine.
SFO does not just take up a spot on the list; it offers a taste of local cuisine right at the gates. The airport's array of eateries is a tribute to San Francisco’s diverse food culture. It features popular dining spots such as Napa Farms Market, famed dim sum restaurant Koi Palace, and the Vietnamese favorite Bun Mee, which also received honors in Bloomberg’s rankings. SFO has embraced the evolution of airport dining, moving away from the food courts of old towards a curated selection that mirrors the city’s rich culinary tapestry.
Airport Director Mike Nakornkhet expressed his gratitude for the recognition from Food & Wine's Global Tastemakers panel, saying, as per San Francisco International Airport, “We are truly honored to be ranked among the best airports by the experts at Food & Wine magazine. Our goal is to create an extraordinary airport experience, and the wide-ranging choices in our food and beverage programs play such a vital role in shaping that customer impression. My thanks go out to our dedicated concessions team for this achievement.”
