Two students at Sebastian River High School in Indian River County was detained by deputies. A K9 unit and a school resource officer conducted a search in the area where the students were apprehended, searching for any illicit items the students might have had. According to WPBF, the incident caused some students to leave campus and head to a nearby Publix, where they were met by school staff and district officials until their guardians could arrive.
