Chandler residents are invited to participate in ChandlerTalks, a town hall event where they can provide input on the city's future development. The event will take place on May 10, from 2-5 p.m., with the main presentation at 4 p.m. It will be held at the Chandler Center for the Arts, located at 250 N. Arizona Ave, as reported by the City of Chandler.
The City of Chandler's presentation will cover the General Plan Update, focusing on the city's growth and development. The update will include a comprehensive housing study, addressing the need for affordable housing. A panel discussion will also focus on water and housing, key issues for the community's future.
A group of local experts will lead the discussion, including Sarah Porter, Kathryn Sorenson, Deidra Pfeiffer, Amy St. Peter, and Mark Stapp. Gabriel Jaramillo will serve as the facilitator. Registration is required by May 5 on ChandlerTalks to attend the event.
