The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has reportedly found skeletal remains believed to be that of Bernice Moorehead, the woman reported missing since October 17, 2024. The discovery was made during a coordinated search effort along Fountain Creek near Pinello Ranch on April 1st.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the search involved various units, including the Mounted Unit, Detectives, and the El Paso County Search and Rescue. The operation was initiated after Moorehead’s personal belongings were discovered close to the creek. "During the search, skeletal remains were found along the creek, just north of Pinello Ranch," the statement detailed. The sheriff’s office is in ongoing communication with Moorehead's family and has offered condolences during this challenging period.
