The team is composed of members from various municipalities, providing broad coverage and collaborating to address conflicts with a focus on community well-being.
The St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, Lake Saint Louis, and Wentzville police departments, alongside the Compass Health Network, collaborate in the Crisis Negotiation Team, with the Network providing key mental health support. The National Tactical Officers Association acknowledges their high operational standards. This team works to preserve life and ensure community safety, often behind the scenes.
