Last Saturday, the St. Louis Park community saw an outpouring of enthusiasm and family fun at the Annual Lions Club Egg Hunt, according to a social media post from the City of St. Louis Park. Over 200 participants, along with their families, gathered at the Recreation Outdoor Center to welcome the onset of spring with an egg hunt that had more than just eggs and candy to offer.
The event, encompassed by a familial atmosphere, provided an excess of activities: children scampered with delight collecting eggs, they traded giggles with the Park Bunny and Chomp from Park Nicollet, while the accompanying parents watched with joy evident in their smiles and cheers. Attendees also had the opportunity to express their creativity through participation in the coloring contest coordinated by the St. Louis Park Lions Club; it was a showcase of colors and the innocent artistry of the young ones, judged with keen eyes yet a gentle heart by the club's members.
The Lions Club, known for its commitment to community service, was not alone in pulling off this springtime extravaganza. A "HUGE thank you” was given to the St Louis Park Parktacular Ambassadors. They were the ever-helpful volunteers as noted on Facebook, whose contributions were instrumental in infusing the event with spirit and organization that allowed everything to run smoothly, and they ensured that the egg hunt was as much about the community spirit as it was about the thrill of the hunt itself.
