Two men were hospitalized following an early morning shooting outside a Nashville strip club as a dispute escalated into violence. The incident occurred outside Larry Flynt's Hustler Club on Rep. John Lewis Way South at approximately 2:40 a.m. today, according to statements from local law enforcement.
Witnesses at the scene described how an argument between several individuals led to one person exiting the Hustler Club, fetching a firearm from their vehicle, and opening fire on a red Cadillac sedan. According to WSMV, shots were fired through the passenger side of the vehicle, injuring both men inside, one sustaining life-threatening injuries, the other expected to recover.
The search for the suspect is ongoing, with Metro Nashville Police reviewing security footage to piece together the night's grievous unfoldings. The shooter, still at large, fled the area following the altercation. A representative for the police told WKRN that despite the abrupt departure, strong leads are being pursued in the quest to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for the shooting.
Both victims, males, were transported to local hospitals, and surgeries were underway for at least one. The injured passenger, while wounded, harbors non-life-threatening injuries. A fight appearing to involve those in the red Cadillac precipitated the retrieval of a weapon and the subsequent gunfire, as reported by FOX17.
