As detailed in a social media post by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department, Hogan demonstrated a keen investigative eye when she detected suspect communications that led to preemptive action against contraband entering the jail facility. Precisely on February 24th, Hogan intercepted messages that hinted at an attempt to smuggle drugs, referred to as 'chris' and 'maryjane', by an inmate coordinating with an individual soon to return to custody.
In the same vein of proactive law enforcement, the YCSO POP Team's February efforts to decisively mitigate methamphetamine trafficking in Yuba County have been highlighted. Their operation, which began with comprehensive surveillance, strategically culminated in a traffic stop on February 20th. The routine procedure unravelled quickly to reveal several pounds of methamphetamine, subsequently leading the team to obtain thoroughly and execute a search warrant at a related residence. This action resulted in the seizure of a notable 55 pounds of methamphetamine, all prepped for street-level distribution, and a firearm equipped with a high-capacity magazine.
