Amazon is expanding its presence in downtown Nashville, setting sights on a new office tower and leasing a full floor in a bustling creative building, it was announced Wednesday by Southwest Value Partners. This move marks a continual growth of Amazon's footprint at the Nashville Yards, a mixed-use development that is becoming a hub for multiple business sectors. "From the beginning we envisioned Nashville Yards as a vibrant, state-of-the-art, healthy living urban community where tech, finance, entertainment and creative classes intersect," Cary Mack, managing partner of Southwest Value Partners, told WKRN.

Joining the ranks of other high-profile tenants such as CAA, AEG Presents, and L-Acoustics, Amazon has leased an entire floor in the CAA Creative Office Building. The company’s expansion at Nashville Yards will not only include this space but will also extend to a second tower next door to The Pinnacle, a music venue in the complex. Not only will Amazon be near dining and entertainment heavy-hitters like Ocean Prime and Earls, but it will also be surrounded by the likes of Fogo de Chão, Sweet Paris, and Culaccino, according to WSMV.

Amazon Tower II, located at 201 Platform Way N., is currently anticipated to open its doors for Amazon employees in 2026, as detailed in a release obtained by the Nashville Post. This office is expected to house various business functions, with Amazon Music as one of the featured occupants. As part of the project, Amazon Tower II will notably include the construction of a multistory conference center and retail space on the first floor for local engagement.

The partnership between Southwest Value Partners and Amazon continues to evolve, which Holly Sullivan, Amazon’s vice president of worldwide economic development, expressed enthusiasm for. "When we originally selected the Yards as our Nashville home, we were confident the site would meet the needs of our team members and be a fantastic attraction for the community and visitors alike to experience," Sullivan said in a statement provided by WKRN. She noted the mutual benefits of the venture, "We’re grateful for the partnership of Southwest Value Partners, and we’re excited to play a role in the development and growth taking place in Nashville."
