Bloomington Police responded to a stabbing incident early Friday morning that left one man injured inside an apartment building on Oakbrook Court. As reported by 25 News Now, officers arrived at the scene at approximately 8:36 a.m. following reports of an individual brandishing a knife. The victim, found with a stab wound in the abdomen, was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening.

During the investigation at the apartment complex, a second man, suffering from injuries, was also discovered at a shopping complex on the 1400 block of North Veterans Parkway. "All persons of interest have been identified, and there is no threat to public safety," Bryce Janssen, a departmental spokesman, said in a statement obtained by Central Illinois Proud. The nature of the second individual's injuries wasn't immediately known, although they were reported to be non-life-threatening as well.
