The Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 16-year-old Kennedi Showers, an African American female, last seen May 5, 2025, on the 6200 block of South Emerald Drive. According to a bulletin posted by Chicago Police, Showers is approximately 5’06”, weighs 145 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair with a medium complexion. She was last spotted wearing a red top and black shorts.
Community members and the police are urgently seeking information on Showers' whereabouts. Anyone who has seen her or knows any pertinent details is encouraged to contact the Area One Detective Division at 312-747-8380 or simply call 911.
