
Chicago Police are reaching out to the public to help quickly identify a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run earlier this year. The incident occurred in the Little Italy, UIC area and left a 27-year-old man with significant injuries, according to the Chicago Police Department. The crash happened while the man was crossing the street at the intersection of Morgan Street and Harrison Street.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a black or dark-colored four-door sedan, possibly a 2005-2008 Cadillac CTS or CTS-V, as detailed by the Chicago Police Department. Authorities have asked anyone with information to come forward and provide tips to the Major Accident Investigation Unit.
The hit and run took place on January 28, at around 10:15 PM at 1000 W Harrison Street, located within the jurisdiction of the 012th Police District, as per the CPD. Residents and those in the vicinity at the time of the crash are urged to reflect and to responsibly come forward with any relevant information they might hold. The Chicago Police Department's call to action also extends online, where tipsters can submit information anonymously.
