
Authorities have charged 33-year-old Jisselle Lopez with multiple felony counts following her arrest in connection with a vehicular hijacking incident in Chicago. According to the Chicago Police Department, Lopez, a resident of the 4700 block of N. Long Ave. was apprehended on May 3, 2025, near the 2500 block of N. Central Park Ave.
The incident unfolded when Lopez took a vehicle and other items at knifepoint from a 22-year-old male in the 1100 block of S. Keeler Ave. The police stated that she was identified as the offender and was swiftly taken into custody. Charges against Lopez include one felony count of Vehicular Hijacking - Aggravated - Weapon, one felony count of Driving Revoked/Suspended DUI/Statutory Summary Suspension 2nd, and one felony count of Aggravated Battery in a Public Place. She has also been charged with several misdemeanors and traffic citations.
Lopez faced a detention hearing last Sunday, and as of the latest reports, the court has not yet publicly released the outcome of this hearing.
