
The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Jada Turner, who is wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred early Thursday morning.
According to WKRN, police received a call at approximately 2:20 a.m. from a woman reporting that she had been stabbed. Responding officers found the victim in the roadway on the 2200 block of McCormick Lane. She was transported to Tennova Healthcare and is currently in stable condition.
Clarksville Police have issued a warrant for Turner’s arrest on a charge of aggravated assault. Investigators believe the stabbing took place inside an apartment at the same address, but the apartment was found vacant when officers arrived, ClarksvilleNow reported. The victim's identity has not been released.
Authorities are asking anyone who knows Turner’s location to call 911. WSMV reported that detectives are also seeking video evidence that may assist in the investigation.
