Clayton County Parks and Recreation is on the hunt for 40 eye-catching cars to feature in their upcoming Shift into Summer Car Show. Those with a vehicle that turns heads have until June 14 to secure a spot for a mere $5, according to details posted on the county's website.
Set to take place at the Jim Huie Recreation Center at 9035 Tara Blvd in Jonesboro, GA, the event invites families and friends to enjoy an afternoon surrounded by spectacular automobiles. According to the county’s announcement, “Bring your friends, family, and your passion for cars, it’s going to be a fun-filled day!" The car show, scheduled for June 14 from 12 PM to 4 PM, offers locals a chance to showcase their vehicles, with free entry for spectators. Sign-up is closing soon as slots are filling quickly.
Those interested in showcasing their cars can register online at the Clayton Parks website or in person at any Clayton County Recreation Center. For more specific inquiries, potential exhibitors and attendees are encouraged to contact Maryann Hartsfield at 678.479.5133, who is more than likely to help guide them through the process.
