According to a Miami-Dade County press release, these closures are part of the ongoing construction at the Coconut Grove Playhouse. The closures began today and are scheduled to continue through next week. Alternate routes are currently in effect.
The detours are in place as a safety measure, according to the County, to ensure the protection of workers, parked vehicles, and others in the area. The County advises using public transportation as an alternative during the closure period.
