This weekend, Clackamas County residents looking to sort out their voting needs ahead of the upcoming Special District Election have an opportunity. According to a recent announcement, extended hours are on offer at the Clackamas County Elections Office in Oregon City and at the Happy Valley Vote Center on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. These locations will provide a range of services, from issuing replacement ballots to updating voter registration.
Each place is staffed with sworn election officials who can assist with lost or damaged ballots and offer voting support in additional languages, as detailed by Clackamas County. To make voting as convenient as possible, there are 25 official ballot drop sites available throughout Clackamas County.
Open around the clock, these sites will accept ballots until 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 20, as per Clackamas County. Voters are encouraged to use these sites to minimize wait times. Due to ongoing construction, the ColtonTel drop site is temporarily out of commission, pushing residents to select any available alternative site.
Those eager to track their ballots can sign up for the county’s “Track Your Ballot” service for notifications when their ballot has been received and counted. Additionally, unofficial election results will pop up on the Clackamas County Elections website shortly after polls close on May 20, with the final official results to be certified on June 11.
