Fort Lauderdale officials are on the lookout for a driver who caused mayhem yesterday evening when their vehicle, after colliding with another, ended up crashing into a residential building before the driver took off, local authorities and fire rescue personnel are engaged in the investigation and search.
The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 13th Street as reported by WSVN, describing a scene where a two-vehicle crash led to one of the cars losing control and slamming into a home, the collision resulted in significant damage to the home's facade, including a cracked doorway and a shattered window, however, no injuries have been reported from the incident.
After the crash, the driver of the car that hit the home fled the scene, and authorities are now appealing to the public for any information that might lead to identifying and locating this individual, as detailed in the NBC Miami report, in the wake of the crash, the house was inspected and deemed unsafe by a building inspector, highlighting the severe impact of the collision on the structural integrity of the property.
