
Houston authorities are conducting an inquiry following the discovery of a 65-year-old woman's death, which took place at a condominium on Bob White Drive over the weekend. According to an official report from the City of Houston, first responders came upon the scene around 10:45 p.m. last Saturday after having been alerted to a fire at the location.
Upon extinguishing the flames and securing the premises, Houston Fire Department personnel found the woman, whose name has yet to be released pending family notification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Reported found deceased inside the burnt condominium unit, detectives from the HPD Homicide Division, A. Vinogradov, and D. Crowder are now overseeing the case. First responders, after putting out the fire and were in the process of making the building safe, discovered the female deceased inside the unit.
While the investigation is ongoing, and as indicated by a city news release, there is no evidence of foul play at this juncture. The cause of the woman's death remains undetermined at this time, with further clarifications expected as autopsy results become available.
