IMPD shared further details stating the victim, identified as Charles Clay Collins by WISH-TV, was struck by a black Dodge Journey. Initial reports mentioned that the robbery involved marijuana, with two suspects, a male, and a female, linked to the case. However, police have yet to disclose any information about arrests in connection with the homicide.

After being transported to a local hospital in critical condition, Collins succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, as reported by WRTV.
