On a day where local camaraderie could be visibly felt, Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood played host to the 3rd Annual Angelo Rossi Memorial 5K Walk/Run. The event, widely attended by residents and visitors, is a testament to the neighborhood's spirit and its collective remembrance of a cherished community member.
With a focus on safety and fostering community relations, officers from the District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) Community Service Office were actively involved in the day's proceedings. Managing traffic and ensuring a secure route for participants, these officers played a pivotal role in the event's success. However, not just confined to the periphery, officers mingled, conversing with attendees and showing their support for this growing neighborhood tradition.
According to the police department's statement, "Officers also took time to connect with attendees, share conversations, and show support for a great neighborhood tradition."
