According to the latest update from the NWS, there's a 40 percent chance of rain today, particularly between 3 pm and 5 pm, with temperatures peaking at a comfortable 76 degrees. The probability of rain drops significantly tonight, to a meager 10 percent before 7 pm, as the overcast conditions persist with lows anticipated around 64 degrees.
A slight increase in shower and thunderstorm activity is on the schedule for tomorrow afternoon, but with a still modest 20 percent chance of precipitation. The temperature is set to rise near 80 degrees under mostly sunny skies, maintaining a gentle north-northwest wind. Switching to the evening, the rain and thunderstorm potential remains at 20 percent after 1 am, as the conditions become mostly cloudy.
Thursday's forecast presents a higher chance of wet weather, with a 60 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 pm. The area may experience new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch, as the highs hover around 80 degrees again. "Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10pm, then showers likely between 10pm and 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am,” the NWS predicts for Thursday night, with lows near 61 degrees.
The weather is expected to improve by Friday, presenting a 20 percent chance of morning showers followed by a mostly sunny day with highs in the upper 70s. The temperatures will continue to climb over the weekend, reaching the low 80s, accompanied by sunshine and slight chances of rain toward the end of the weekend.
