
The Memphis Police Department is currently on the hunt for a man implicated in a stabbing that took place at a local convenience store last month. The incident, which occurred prior to 10 p.m. on April 26 at The Parkway Saver Stop, ensued following an altercation between two men which escalated when one of the individuals brandished a knife and inflicted multiple stab wounds on the other, as Action News 5 reported.
Details about the suspect have been released by authorities, he is described as a bald Black man, and on that day, he was attired in a black and white striped shirt with shorts, this description was provided in a press release obtained by Local Memphis. Witnesses or anyone with information relating to this violent occurrence, or the whereabouts of this individual is strongly encouraged by the MPD to contact CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
In a corroboration of events, FOX13 Memphis also reported that the MPD confirmed the suspect had fled the scene post the stabbing, and that at 9:50 p.m., the officers had responded to the aggravated assault at the South Parkway convenience store to investigate the crime scene.
The Memphis community has been alerted to remain vigilant as the search for the suspect proceeds.
