The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, Homicide Bureau announced they apprehended 39-year-old Antwane Demon Johnson, in connection to the fatal shooting of Rennard Walker, age 49, back in August 2021, according to a recent press release.
Reports back to August 29, 2021, indicate that officers responded to an alert of shots fired at approximately 1:30 A.M. in the east lot of the Golden Glades Park & Ride, where they found Walker with multiple gunshot wounds, shots were fired striking the victim without provocation as he exited a private party bus from a family celebration. Despite prompt intervention from the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.
