
Miami-Dade residents will follow their regular waste disposal schedule on Memorial Day. The Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) has announced that there will be no changes to waste collection, recycling, or landfill operations on May 26. All services will proceed as scheduled during the holiday.
According to Miami-Dade County's announcement, administrative offices will be closed for the holiday; however, essential services will continue without interruption. Waste collection and related operations will proceed as usual.
For information on waste disposal and the Memorial Day schedule, residents can contact the Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) by calling 311 prior to the holiday or by visiting the DSWM website. The website includes service schedules, recycling guidelines, and drop-off site locations available during the holiday weekend.
