Police in Murfreesboro are on the hunt for suspects linked to a spree of vehicle burglaries that unfolded Monday afternoon, striking locales such as the Fountains at Gateway, Manson Pike Trailhead, and the pickleball courts on Golf Lane, as WSMV reported. Per the report, the crimes involved not only break-ins but also felony theft, credit card fraud, and vandalism, with photos of the suspects issued by the Murfreesboro Police Department currently circulating in hopes of apprehension.
According to WKRN, officials pointed out the suspects were last observed in a silver SUV that bears a Tennessee plate BFB0638, ironically a plate registered to a different vehicle, and with these break-ins having transpired on a day that bears solemn remembrance, Memorial Day, it contrasts sharply against the community's expectations of peace and reflection. These incidents left multiple residents without their valuables and facing the turmoil of unauthorized charges and property damage after returning to their cars.
The Murfreesboro Police Department, taking to social media, broadcasted the event and appealed for public assistance shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday, revealing that the two wanted individuals could be driving a silver Hyundai SUV, WGNS Radio documented. There is an urgency in the call for those who might recognize the alleged perpetrators to contribute any information that could pave the way for their identification and subsequent arrest.
If you have any pertinent information or can identify the individuals from the released photographs, Detective Ferree is the point of contact and can be reached by dialing 629-201-5628.
