In the wake of a high-speed chase that saw speeds topping 90 mph, Metro Nashville Police Department, alongside Aviation and Violent Crimes detectives, apprehended three individuals and recovered a considerable haul of contraband and stolen property last Friday night. As reported by WSMV, the chaotic episode began when an Infiniti Q50 with a temporary tag not on record refused to stop for police, initiating the pursuit on Dickerson Pike near Old Hickory Boulevard.

The frantic chase culminated on Westchester Drive where two occupants, identified as 19-year-old Kejuan Hodges and a minor, fled from the vehicle into a nearby residence, inside the police subsequently discovered another stolen Infiniti Q50 in the driveway and five firearms in the home, including one that had been reported stolen, this all taking place after an initially attempted traffic stop last Friday, had escalated quickly. WKRN noted that the Infiniti the suspects abandoned was found to contain 60 grams of marijuana on its floorboard.

Arrests included the home's owner, Ricky Davis, age 39, who with previous felonies to his name, was charged with possession of a weapon as a felon and released on a $2,500 bond, while Hodges faces a $51,000 bond. Hodges, previously arrested in February on several serious charges, including aggravated robbery and assault, is now charged with two counts of vehicle theft, evading arrest, marijuana possession, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, further complicating an already elaborate web of legal troubles he faces. The minor involved was charged in Juvenile Court, although the specifics of those charges were not disclosed.

Authorities have yet to release more detailed information on the matter.
