A new restaurant called Asian Co. quietly began serving customers Friday morning in Mount Juliet, opening its doors for a soft launch at 9 a.m. inside the Everette Downs development. The eatery, which bills itself as a spot where “family and friends gather here,” offers Asian comfort food alongside boba tea, according to the announcement.
The soft opening was announced in a post from the City of Mt. Juliet on Facebook, which shared photos of the new storefront signage reading Asian Co. Restaurant along with teaser shots of a boba tea menu featuring options like a premium house blend. Asian Co. posts under the social media handle asianco.mtjuliet, where it told followers, “Mt. Juliet, get ready—Asian Co. is almost here!”
Asian Co. officially secured its full-service restaurant business license from Wilson County on February 1, 2026, registering its location at 1913 N. Mount Juliet Road, Suite 104, according to the Wilson Post. That address places the restaurant inside Everette Downs, directly next to Sprouts, per the seed announcement, and menu boards captured in promotional photos hint at dishes including Spicy Thai options, Chicken Tikka, and Lao Pa Lo.
A Modern Kitchen Built for Variety
Behind the scenes, commercial hospitality equipment firm Chef's Deal designed Asian Co.'s kitchen concept as a modern, multi-concept dining operation meant to deliver a range of Asian comfort dishes efficiently, the company notes. That layout approach reflects a broader trend among regional Middle Tennessee hospitality concepts aiming to serve varied menus without sacrificing speed.
Asian Co. sits within Everette Downs, a 10.9-acre grocery-anchored commercial development at North Mount Juliet Road and Division Street that sees an average daily traffic volume of 35,855 vehicles, according to developer GBT Realty. The center was designed by GBT Realty and Robinson Properties to capture growth along what has become Mount Juliet's central commercial corridor.
Sprouts Anchor Draws Foot Traffic to the Center
Everette Downs is anchored by Wilson County's first organic grocery store, Sprouts Farmers Market, which opened on October 17, 2025, and drew more than 600 shoppers on its opening day, according to MtJuliet.com. That opening marked a major expansion of grocery options for residents on the city's north side and has helped establish steady foot traffic across the surrounding storefronts.
Asian Co. joins an expanding lineup of tenants at the development, including Nashville-born Ugly Bagel, which opened its doors on July 1, 2026, as well as upcoming additions Rock N' Roll Sushi and The Back Nine Golf. Developers targeted mid-2026 for the majority of the center's retail and dining grand openings, the same MtJuliet.com report notes.
Growth Numbers Behind the Dining Boom
The new restaurant's arrival comes as Mount Juliet's population has climbed to an estimated 46,389 residents in 2026, a 16.9% increase since the 2020 U.S. Census, according to World Population Review. That growth has come with substantial purchasing power: the U.S. Census Bureau reported a median household income of $107,068 in Mount Juliet in 2024, well above the Tennessee state average, per the City of Mt. Juliet.
Countywide, Wilson County's population is projected to reach 169,095 residents in 2026 while ranking second in Tennessee for median household income at $95,839, based on Census Bureau 2020–2024 estimates cited by USAFacts. To keep pace with that growth, Mount Juliet is managing 27 capital improvement infrastructure projects totaling $500 million while still maintaining one of Tennessee's lowest municipal property tax rates, at $0.29 per $100 of assessment in 2024, the city says.
Asian Co.'s debut also lands amid a broader mid-2026 wave of restaurant announcements in Mount Juliet, including Lubu Vietnamese Restaurant, Pizza Twist, and a second city location for Waffle House, according to a Mt.
