Get ready to hoop it up this summer as New Braunfels launches its first-ever 3v3 Women's Basketball League starting in June. This fresh format aims to provide some fierce half-court competition, with a season spread across six weeks followed by a two-week playoff. According to the City of New Braunfels, one game will be played each night.
Those looking to dribble and dominate have until June 18 to register, with a cap of 8 players per roster. While the league is open to women aged 18 and over, there are limited spaces, so organizers are encouraging teams to sign up ASAP. A manager meeting, set for June 19 at 6:30 PM, will serve as the jump ball for the league's proceedings, which officially tip-off on June 26.
Players will compete under the rules of the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) and local standards, combining structured play with community-specific guidelines. For further details on how to participate, please visit the city's website. With a team registration fee of $150, the league offers an affordable opportunity for the basketball community to engage in summer competition.
