
On the streets of Orland Park, Illinois, a 16-year-old boy has found himself enmeshed in the criminal justice system following his alleged role in a forceful robbery. According to the Chicago Police Department, the juvenile was apprehended on Wednesday and is facing serious charges that include one felony count of robbery and one felony count of aggravated battery against a transit employee.
The incident in question traces back to a February altercation aboard a CTA train in Chicago. The victim, a 53-year-old male, reported that his belongings were forcefully taken from him. After an investigation, authorities homed in on the Orland Park youth, placing him under arrest in the 15000 block of Ravinia.
