San Francisco's Outside Lands is once again bringing the best of the Bay's food and drink scene to Golden Gate Park this summer, from August 8 through August 10. Beer, wine, and cocktail aficionados, along with food lovers, will find their tastes catered to with a lineup that boasts local culinary delights and a wide array of beverages. According to the Eater SF, the festival will feature headliners not just on stage but in their pop-up kitchens, with Michelin Guide-listed restaurants and various international dishes ready to serve the hungry crowds.
With more than 95 local eateries participating, festivalgoers will have over 800 menu items to choose from, including a wide spectrum of 52 different cuisines to suit every palate, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on offer. Visitors with Golden Gate Club tickets can enjoy complimentary meals from notable Bay Area chefs like Tyler Florence of Miller & Lux, shared by Outside Lands. For those looking to quench their thirst, the festival's Cocktail Magic will feature six themed bars with roaming magicians, while over 20 Northern California wineries will be pouring at Wine Lands.
Outside Lands' Instagram post teases the Taste of the Bay Area as being "stacked with spots repping the Bay’s best eats," encouraging festivalgoers to "Come hungry." Beer Lands, always a staple of the festival, promises to serve up cold brews from numerous California craft breweries, and attendees will have the chance to meet the talents behind their favorite beers. San Francisco nonprofit La Cocina is also returning, offering a diverse array of chicken wings from businesses they support, with flavors from around the world.
Noteworthy eateries like Brenda's French Soul Food, Pedro's, and Smokin Woods BBQ, will be serving culinary creations ranging from crawfish beignets to wagyu crunch wraps and smoked brisket mac and cheese. And crafty concoctions in the VIP experience area for the first year, a coffee pop-up named Poorboy will be on hand, ready to caffeinate guests with their brown sugar lattes, as discovered by Outside Lands' news release.
