
A motorcycle accident on Pacific Highway has left a 30-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries, including a brain bleed that required surgery. The San Diego Police Department reports that today at approximately 5:58 AM, the woman, whose name has not been released, was riding southbound on the 4100 block of Pacific Highway on her 2000 Harley-Davidson Sportster when she lost control and crashed. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.
Officer S. Foster, the Watch Commander overseeing the situation, detailed that the victim sustained abrasions and a severe brain injury due to the accident. Following the crash, the injured rider was promptly treated at a local hospital. Carried by the momentum of a quiet morning, emergency services responded quickly to the accident scene.
Presently, the Traffic Investigations units have taken charge of investigating the specifics of the crash, attempting to unravel the unknown cause behind the motorcyclist's loss of control.
