San Francisco’s Park District was disrupted on Tuesday when police found a dead person on the unit block of Laguna Street around 3:19 PM, after responding to a call.
Officers and paramedics arrived quickly, but the person was already deceased. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed the death suspicious, prompting the San Francisco Police Department’s Homicide Detail to take over the investigation.
The case has unsettled the community, and detectives are now working to uncover what happened. The San Francisco Police Department asks anyone with information to call 1-415-575-4444 or text TIP411, starting the message with “SFPD.”
