Two male juveniles, both aged 15, have been charged with armed robbery in a recent incident that occurred in Chicago's South Side. The suspects were arrested late Wednesday night after allegedly robbing two victims at gunpoint. According to the Chicago Police Department's news release, the property was taken from a 14-year-old female and a 35-year-old female in the 9400 block of S. Justine.
Details from the release by the Chicago Police Department indicate that officers quickly responded to the scene of the crime, which took place approximately 30 minutes before the arrest of the juveniles in the nearby 9000 block of S. Ashland.
Each offender faces two felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm, but the Chicago Police Department has not released any further information regarding the case as the investigation continues.
