
Tragedy struck in Mesa as two men's lives were abruptly ended in a fatal altercation involving gunfire on a late Tuesday night. The incident, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, occurred near the intersection of Gilbert and Broadway roads at approximately 11:55 p.m.
The Mesa Police Department discovered Scott McCracken, 37, and Norberto Ruiz, 37, with gunshot wounds on the sidewalk. Following the emergency response, both men were transported to the hospital. Despite efforts to save them, they succumbed to their injuries, the police shared in a news release obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix. McCracken had reportedly fired at Ruiz, who then returned fire, leading to fatal outcomes for both men.
