
Two shooting incidents in North Miami yesterday afternoon have left two men hospitalized, according to law enforcement authorities. The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire on the 15000 block of Northeast 6th Avenue shortly after 2:30 p.m. One of the victims, a man with a gunshot wound, was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition, as confirmed by CBS Miami.
A second man was discovered with a gunshot wound in the 13700 block of Northeast 6th Avenue. Although details surrounding the second shooting are sparse, witnesses in the vicinity have indicated to NBC6 that the incident occurred outside a beauty shop. Both men have reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries in these separate but potentially related events.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office has not yet released information about suspects or what led to the shootings. The cases remain active investigations as detectives work to piece together the sequence of events and determine if there is any connection between the two shootings.
